After a long time, I finally went to a cinema again to watch a movie I really anticipated. This time, it was Watchmen, after the wonderful graphic novel written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons. I think I don't need to tell you anything about the novel. The Movie, however, is a near 1:1 adaption. Literally. If you want to know how close to the book it is, I'm just going to say:
YOU CAN SEE DOCTOR MANHATTAN'S PENIS ON SCREEN. (Not that I would have liked to see it, I was happy about the fact Zack Snyder got away with it)

I just got the DVD of Hellboy II - The Golden Army and went to watch the bonus material, when I found a featurette called "Nachwort von Zinco" ("Afterword by Zinco"). Roderick Zinco, a rich guy who gets tempted by Rasputin in the second Novel ("Wake the Devil") to support his Ragnarök-Project with his Fortune is one of my favorite characters in the series. Throughout the WtD-Storyline, all the gadgets his company produced explode or malfunction, many times there is a dramatic zoom on the brand name ZINCO before it goes boom.
